GenAI Software Engineer Java/Typescript
Build smarter, code differently.
We usually respond within three days
Bonitasoft Benefits
We’re building a new kind of SaaS platform, one where users interact with workflows through AI-powered assistants embedded in tools like Slack and Teams.
Behind the scenes?
A smart orchestration engine built at the intersection of several breakthroughs :
Workflow orchestration powered by LLMs
Conversational interfaces embedded in business tools
No-code automation to democratize AI adoption
An AI-assisted development chain from code to production
You’ll join right as things take off : the prototypes work, the tech foundation is solid, and now it’s time to build for scale.
We’re looking for a Next-Gen Software Engineer ready to work with tools like Claude and Cursor, not just write code, but prompt, review, and pilot AI-generated code to bring our product to life.
You’ll code like a pilot, not a factory.
Your mission
As a software engineer on this project, your day-to-day won’t look like it used to.
You'll work with tools like Claude and Cursor to generate, review, and improve code, shifting from manual implementation to a “pilot–co-pilot” model where your technical expertise guides what the AI produces.
Your scope will cover key challenges the team is tackling:
Bringing AI into the development chain (code generation, testing, CI/CD)
Designing and evolving AI components (LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, embeddings)
Automating the delivery pipeline with smart, AI-enhanced DevOps practices
Building a natural conversational experience that turns plain language into executable workflows
You’ll work in Java (mostly) and Python on the backend, with TypeScript on the frontend, and collaborate closely with product and design to make the experience seamless and usable.
This is a hands-on, experimental role, perfect for someone ready to evolve with these tools and shape the future of how software gets built.
What’s in it for you ?
This is a rare opportunity to work on a product where AI isn’t a feature, it’s the foundation.
You’ll join early, while everything is still being built, and your work will have visible impact on the product, the team, and the way we build software. You’ll experiment with the best tools out there and help define how they fit into real development workflows.
You’ll grow your skills not just in coding, but in prompting, reviewing, and orchestrating AI as a collaborator. It’s a chance to evolve your role, from implementer to architect, from solo coder to AI pilot.
Our stack & environment
Cloud-native stack: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
DevOps mindset with a focus on automation, observability, and maintainability
Security, performance, and code quality are everyone’s responsibility
Use of vector databases like Qdrant and RAG pipelines for AI integrations
Integration with Slack and Teams (Block Kit, Adaptive Cards) for conversational UX
Monitoring with tools like Grafana and Prometheus
Your first 6 months
First week: Get familiarized with our stack and way of working
December to March: Contribute to Beta Program by implementing product improvements based on user feedback
April to June: Ensure the product is ready to go live
What sets you apart
You're a software engineer with solid fundamentals and a mindset that’s ready to evolve.
You’re curious about how AI can change the way we build, and you’re not afraid to learn by doing. You care about code quality, collaboration, and building things that make sense.
You don't need to tick every box, but here’s what would help you hit the ground running:
Senior experience as a Java, Springboot, software developer
Exposure to fullstack environments (TypeScript, modern frameworks)
Strong interest or hands-on use of AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
Ability to read/modify Python for integration work
Comfort with CI/CD and cloud-native practices (GitHub Actions, Docker, etc.)
